New addition

That's right, we have a new member in our family! He doesn't have a name yet, but he arrived just this afternoon. Don't have his specific length or weight either.

This is our new (used) 2002 Toyota Camry. (We're having the tint on the windows removed in the morning.)

  1. Why are you removing the tint? At your altitude the UV rays are probably a lot higher and the tint would help block some of those. It's good for your eyes, health, and would keep the interior car temperature cooler in the summer when it's not running sitting out in the sun. Are you afraid cops would profile you?

  2. Kyle, it's really just a preference thing. We're aware of the benefits of having the tinted windows, but neither of us like the way it looks, and we don't like that other drivers can't see us. It also makes it more difficult to see the traffic around us as we drive (like checking blindspots and looking in the rear-view mirror and stuff). The back passenger windows and the rear window are REALLY dark. There are at least two layers of tint on them.

We're going to get one of those shades you unfold across the windshield to keep it cooler in the car. Plus, Camry's have a nifty little shade built-in to the rear window that just slides right up on the inside.

Thanks for commenting! Sorry I haven't returned your phone call from last week. :(

  3. What? You are removing the tint. It's freakin awesome and if you ever have children you'll wish you never removed it. Great car though...for rizzle.
